After many years vacationing on Marco Island ourselves, when we decided to get our own place, we tried to cover all the bases, from large screen TVs and movie streaming and a fully equipped kitchen to a den for those of us who need to work while we try and relax (or for the kids to hang out). There's gear for fishing or heading to the beach, we think we have things covered.
Traveling with Kids
After a long journey with your family, you want to get on with your vacation. If you are anything like us, when our kids were younger, we spent the first day (or two) worrying about how to ensure the kids were safe from the pool and vice versa.
While no substitute for good parenting, for your piece of mind, every access from the house to the pool lanai is protected by child locks and door chimes (make sure you test that the chimes are working).
There is a selection of family board games and for the days when you want some peace and quiet the den features an Xbox One.
For the youngest travelers, there are equipment rental companies for cribs, high-chairs and other essentials, such as TravelMamas and Kids-on-a-Plane.
